Still alive so no cake for you

Had to take my mac in under warranty because although it was around two months old the mother board was faulty. I am still drawing sketches, trying to work out how I want each character to look, it's just that most of my time lately has been spent reinstalling my mac since I got it back. Well that's done and now I'm back to drawing.

Hours later it's up

I have done my new fillers/sketches/blog website and have just spent the last god knows how long scanning and importing images into it. You will notice so changes on the Eternity web site, like twitte. For anyone who wishes to look at my new site there should be a link to it on the top bar. Now I just have to redesign the Eternity website and start making comics.

Mac and MobileMe

Woohoo I have to admit Mac and mobile me are great. The only reason I haven't posted sketches like I promissed was because I couldn't figure out a way to do it without spending far to much time making each pages. Now however I have discovered iWeb and MobileMe. I shall make a link to my MobileMe website and use it for posting my sketches and fillers to. Yay that makes things so much easier. Still first I have to finish making my MobileMe site on iWeb. Ah I am really beginning to love mac.

Woops

Err I forgot to post info lately of what I have been up to. I have been doing lots of drawing and planning and I love my new look for Jason. Although I can't figure out a decent way to show my sketches I started myself a twitter blog thingymagigy and on occasions I remember to photo what I am drawing. With a little luck it won't be long where I am happy enough with my progress and restart posting Eternity.

How do I make lemonade with these lemons??

I would love to be able to turn around these series of crappy events in my life. My nasty, cruel, evil bastard grandfather assulted me a week ago. The prejudiced bastard tried to choke me with his forearm. To make things even better I filled a report against him and the police have just phoned me telling me there is not enough evidence against him, despite photos, all because he claimed it was in self defence. Pssh yeah right, if it was self defence I would have crippled the bastard instead of trying to stop him.

Then to make matters worse a couple of days ago my youngest brother was discovered to have cancer, while also the same police officer said that, despite my mum renting the house, that because my grandfather owns it my whole family should move out. Just lovely.

Inconsistency sucks

I have been practicing my drawing quite a bit recently despite my ever increasing depression and a few other issues I am having problems with. I am unsure about my drawings though. Oh as you have seen I have become a lot better recently, but I am having trouble being consistent with new character designs and such.

Consistency is an important issue. I have realized I should have worked more thoroughly on my old strips, so that’s a good thing. Unfortunately like I said I can’t drawing consistent. For example on a new character I have been working on my first drawing looks almost perfect, no matter how many times I look at it I can’t see any flaws, and a few of my works are becoming this quality level. But this is the exception, not the rule. My drawings tend to turn out all over the place and it makes it difficult designing a new character if each refinement I do to it doesn’t turn out correct. I can only hope that when I start posting again I will have resolved this issue.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

The 20th is the annual transgender Day of Remembrance and despite the fact that I haven’t posted my comic for a long, long time, that doesn’t stop me from posting for DoR. Thus here is my 2008 DoR post.

Just to let anyone wondering what I was writing about when I meant living in the shadows, I was referring to the fact that we hide what we are from society to protect ourselves, and yet it doesn’t always work.
